Ooh, pretty paper!

We found some beautiful paper for the washi tin class (see below).  Special pricing of $20 per person for this fun class; where you will create two unique tins for storing tea (or anything, really), two generous samples of tea, and our signature mini tea party.  These make wonderful Mother’s Day gifts 🙂

Some of the beautiful papers you can choose from!

You can purchase your ticket at https://squareup.com/market/festivitea-celebration-in-a-cup or email/call Margo at festivitea@yahoo.com or 719-963-6092 to reserve your spot.

Have you been wondering…

“who are these tea ladies at FestiviTea?”

Many of you we’ve met at the Rampart High School Christmas bazaars or Lotion Bar Cafe’s Handmade Hollydays. Thank you for your business and keeping up with our FB page, blog, and emails. We appreciate you!

So who are we? There are two of us “tea ladies”,

Margo Wells                                       Jenny Bolt

We have been in business for nearly 10 years, first as caterers specializing in tea parties. We catered many private events: in homes; the McAllister House; the Penrose House; churches, etc… Plus, some public events for the Nor’wood Group at the First and Main Town Center. We loved doing the tea parties but had to change our business focus after a few years. We decided to offer the delicious loose leaf teas we served at our tea parties to the public. It’s our way of helping our customers create their own celebration in a cup. We also offer private label teas!

During our catering days we amassed quite an inventory of teapots, cups, flatware, dishes, linens, centerpieces, tiered stands – you name it! So we rent those out, cheaper than the plain stuff you find at party rental places. We have a variety of styles, which you can see some of them in photos on our FB page. (We’re working on updating those soon.) We are happy to help you plan your tea event, just ask!

We have started offering classes related to tea; our first is creating beautiful tea tins covered in the Japanese washi style. We also plan on offering a scone making class; a tea-101; tea etiquette class, and more this year! We’d love to hear your suggestions so feel free to comment or email.

Thank you for being here and Cheers!  Margo & Jenny
